Just back yesterday from a very sunny Lanzarote - I had a great time away with my family and the days consisted very much of lounging by the pool, playing in the pool with the kids and
having great food and wine!  Need to get back to the gym that's for sure!

My season is almost at a close now with my last remaining event being the Scottish Region Fourball Championship this Sunday at Gleneagles.  My partner, Alan Gowran, and I take on fellow pro's Derek Watters and Graham Forbes from Gourok for a place in the semi-finals which is due to be held on The Kings Course on Monday!

There is certainly a nice incentive to do well in this event - if Alan and I win the quarter finals match tomorrow we get to stay overnight at the fantastic Gleneagles Hotel with dinner and breakfast!

It's safe to say that after a break this week, I am working hard on the range today to try and get some feel back in the hands - hopefully we can play well and finish off the season on a high.
