OLD PRESTWICK - 14th March

Yesterday saw me compete in another tournament round with the Ayrshire Alliance - it's great to get another game under my belt as the season will be starting soon.

I shot  69 (-2) at old Prestwick in a pretty cold wind!  On a positive note, I saw a lot of good shots within my game - new Titleist woods and wedges are feeling great.  On the negative side, my short game and wedge game need some work to tighten up the strike and distance!  With some good, solid practice these things tend to sharpen up the more you play so looks like I'll be spending more time in and around the green and 100 yards and in!
